For three decades, the District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA) has been at the forefront of revitalizing parks and recreation centers across Washington, DC. This year, the tradition of community building continued at Marvin Gaye Park, where Bohler DC’s team made a meaningful impact during the DCBIA Community Improvement Day.
Volunteers from Bohler DC rolled up their sleeves to create a whisper tube, crafting wind chimes that add a melodic touch to the park’s ambiance. Additionally, they installed a new path connecting the park to the main sidewalk, enhancing accessibility and inviting more visitors to enjoy the space.
DCBIA collaborates with the Department of Parks & Recreation, DC Housing Authority, and the Office of Planning, alongside local community members, to foster vibrant spaces that promote well-being and strengthen community ties. This year’s event at Marvin Gaye Park exemplifies the ongoing commitment to creating inclusive and engaging environments for all residents of Washington, DC.
Bohler DC is proud to be part of this legacy, contributing to the revitalization of our community and enhancing the quality of life for all who call it home.
